It's been less than a year since he brought back longtime coach David Leadbetter into the fold, but my boy Charles Howell III is seeing some immediate dividends, and folks are taking notice.
ESPN golf editor Jason Sobel talks about Howell getting back on track, while PGATour.com has a feature on him since he's leading the inaugural FedEx Cup.
He's also second on the PGA Tour Money List and has moved into the Top 40 in the World Golf Rankings. He needs to finish either in the Top 10 on the money list or the Top 40 in the rankings the week prior to The Masters to earn an invitation.
This week, he's nine-under par with two holes remaining on his second round at the FBR Open, putting him just four shots off the lead.
