Well, we'll likely never hear Larry call another Cocktail Party. I have so many great memories from childhood right on through. In the stands and in my house, Larry's always the one making the calls.

If Scott does the play-by-play on these road games, I wonder who they will get to do the color commentary. Dantzler does it for basketball. Not sure he'll get the nod for football. Maybe Hondo?

Cheers, Larry. If it has to happen, maybe the road game thing gives us some time to get used to it. As for Jacksonville, perhaps he'll do it one more time if it's a 3:30 game - I think it's the late night travel that particularly wears him out. Maybe we could even get a win down there.

My two uncles love to tell the story of watching the 1980 Georgia-Florida game and, having Munson playing in the background, had pulled up their chairs close to the TV.

As Lindsey Scott began to pull away, they just began punching each other over and over again in the arm until he got into the end zone.

I'd like to see either Hondo or Buck Belue. I've never been a huge Dantzler fan. I think he's good for baseball, but it's hard to imagine him doing football.

Jeff D. has had some memorable calls at the end of white-knuckle NCAA tournament games for the women's basketball team that are absolutely Munsonian. I'd love to hear him give football a shot. Nobody I know...NOBODY...bleeds redder-and-blacker than JD.

He'd need to lose the Conan/Kimmel frat-boy schtick that he whips out occasionally to groan-inducing effect, though. But I think he'd do whatever it takes to land this gig.

Yeah, Dantzler's pretty much a D-bag.

I'm interested in Howard to Belue, 14 games a season.
