Don't tase me ... sis?

Meltdowns in sports are always fun.

Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy went nuts, throwing a massive temper tantrum because a reporter offered some criticism of Cowboys quarterback Bobby Reid. It was awesome, though for someone who worked as a sports reporter during the Jim Donnan era at Georgia, nothing new.

Jenni Carlson, the reporter who penned the column in question, gave a response here.

As an aside, am I alone in being attacted to Carlson?

I don't know the particulars of this situation, but I would say his reaction is a little over the top. Big time college football players are going to take their fair share of criticism. Part of his job as their coach is to help them understand how to deal with it or he is doing them a disservice. It isn't like we are talking about 12 year olds here. (And by the way, even 12 year olds get criticized all the time; I know because one of my jobs is to help them understand that in the global scheme of life, not being able to throw the deep out route isn't the end of the world, any more than being able to throw it makes you a better man.)

You know I might take him more seriously if he wasn't wearing a visor.

Carlson's not unattractive but the voice is a total dealbreaker.
