Are these your predictions, or some poll?

Also, to nitpick, the caucuses are not "annual."

The weather is decent tonight, so I say Obama in a squeaker over Edwards. But I have very little confidence in that prediction.

I'll play!

I haven't picked my candidate yet, so these are predictions, NOT endorsements, if I could afford to attend the Convention, I would run and attend as undecided.

(Holy cow, 3,000? plus the cost of running a state-wide campaign for the opportunity?) Well that keeps the rabble out, doesn't it? And the disabled, minority and elderly voters who are on limited incomes.

I would not want to attend every convention, or even go more than once. (I bet I would get so much energy from it you'd have to tug me down from the ceiling for weeks!) I'm sure the Dem convention is as accessible as it gets, though, so there's always next time, even if I'm not getting around real well, and have to use my walker. It's sporty, has a seat and everything, stylin...

Way more importantly, though,it strikes me that the conventions are great ways to energize new people, I never have understood why the same people go over and over again, it seems counterproductive.

But I digress. Here's the list like our Host w/the Most made, posted hours (and some days!) before any of these start, and I'm even going to sign my real name to this, so you can throw it back in my face, no problem.

I haven't been drawn enough to any of the candidates to think as much as I should have about this. I'm a local gal, and just hope that by continuing/starting to elect real Democrats instead of dixiecrats on the local level we will benefit from whatever candidate I will support. And I will fight for whoever wins the Democratice nomination, you betcha!

DEMOCRATS:

Iowa:
Obama /Edwards, 1 and 2 or vica versa, (squeaker!)
Clinton, 3 (I have a feeling these words will be eaten shortly!)

New Hampshire:
Clinton, 1
Obama, 2
Edwards, 3

South Carolina:
Edwards 1
Obama 2
Hillary 3

Republicans:

Iowa:
Huckabee 1
McCain 2
Romney 3

New Hampshire:
Mitt Romney 1
John McCain 2
Huckabee 3

South Carolina:
McCain 1
Huckabee 2
Romney 3

Can't wait to read what y'all are thinking is going to happen!

Oh, and Happy New Year!

Clinton's lead looks pretty solid in New Hampshire. Unless there is a big Iowa bounce, I think she'll win there. I think Obama wins tonight, Clinton in third but all very close so the media will try to spin it as a virtual three way tie.

I think Obama will win South Carolina. Unfortunately, he's gonna need some luck or some major shift in opinions to make up ground in the states after South Carolina. It can happen, but will be more difficult if he doesn't sweep the first three contests and create the media storm that Clinton is on the ropes and that he's surging ahead.

I want the guy to be the nominee, but I think the road is largely uphill right now even with winning 2 of the first 3 states.
