Nanny-nanny-boo-boo politics
Isn't this a rather dumb line of counterargument? I mean, there's absolutely no way to back it up, and it's tantamount to a type of 'I know you are, what am I' style of campaigning.
I think it's been rather well documented that the Clinton campaign has been cherrypicking quotes from Barack Obama and regularly distorting his record (which, to be fair, is what most modern-day political campaigns do). However, Obama has hit back by pointing out that the Clintons are doing just that ... and the response to that is to say 'that's a right-wing talking point.'
Uh, how? If Bill Clinton is distorting Obama's record and statements - which, again, it's rather clear that he's doing just that - than how the hell is that a talking point from any ideological persuasion? It would seem to me to be more of, well, a factual observation.

I love hearing liberals voice the same complaints about the Clintons that conservatives have been saying for years.
Finally, you understand!
Yeah, I've had that same thought, josh!
But remember: conservatives really WERE evil people who attacked the Clintons for no good reason, engaged in elaborate 'right wing conspiracy', etc. So, see, it's totally different. :-)
Did anyone else see Mayor Franklin speak at Ebenezer today, with former President Clinton in the front row corner right in front of her? She made a couple of really pointed remarks, including one about "fairy tales".
It was great, and led on a couple of channels this evening's news cycle. The AJC made note of the fact that while everyone in the place came to their feet when she finished, Clinton remained seated. For some reason that link doesn't want to cut and paste for me here. It was also the lead story on channel 11 this evening at 6, and will probably air at 11 too.
An Obama headquarters is opening in Athens, possibly Thursday. But folks are already at work!
On Saturday, I was in my jammies watching Nevada and SC on tv and the internet, and didn't get up to answer my door when two Obama supporters knocked on my door. I figured they saw the Obama sticker in my window, and knew their time would be better spent on undecideds, anyway.
I understand from the local coordinator for Obama that they had 27 folks out in that nasty drizzle and sleet. There are almost 70 Athenians signed up on his website, pretty good, considering that most of our base doesn't have internet access.
Here's a link, I hope it's okay to post it, of the former President snapping at a reporter in Vegas last week. The New York Times has picked it up, so it must be true... (take your best shot, my conservative friends!)

Who is she going to get as a running mate? Whoever takes that gig has to know they'll be third in that administration.
If she can't control him now, what's going to happen if she gets nominated? Or is this some kind of bad cop good cop routine?
I don't know, but it's her campaign, and I hope they work it out. I don't have to tell you all how much the Repubs are just about drooling for a shot at that team.
I am amazed at what a gentleman Senator Obama remains, I'm on the offensive already over this race, and I usually just don't do negative, or even publicly support anyone during the primaries, since I'm just a local yokle, and prefer to put my effort into electing local and state-wide Democrats. I will, of course, support whoever winds up as our nominee, and wish Obama and Edwards would team up.
Fired up, ready to go! You betcha!
Got hope?
Maddy
Dick Morris, FWIW, says it's "good cop, bad cop," designed to take the camera off a stumbling, sobbing Hillary and change the news cycle subject by putting it on Bill.
To that extent, it's worked.
Whatever: Obama needs to knock it off and let his surrogates do the barking for him.
