Considering Alabama students who live on campus have to move their cars off-campus on weekends to make way for football fans, I am not surprised.
At Ole Miss, a few people had mythical gray parking tags. A $10,000 donation to the university bought you a gray tag. The gray tag allowed you to park anywhere on campus. And when I say anywhere, I mean anywhere - lawns, handicapped spots, the front porch of the journalism building conveniently located just steps from the Grove.
We will see more of this in the future as college football continues to become purely a money-making enterprise.
