Reality from The Realist
Don't take this as my condoning the actions of Barry Bonds, but I've got to give a hat tip to I'm A Realist for this post discussing the recent allegations against the Giants' slugger.

I hate Barry just as much as the next guy, but I do agree with a lot of what that post had to say. We can't keep him out of the Hall, just like we can't (and shouldn't) keep McGwire and Palmeiro out. However, we can make sure they are not first ballot Hall of Famers. Keeping them off for a year or five will allow any and all evidence about the steriod era to come out AND will send a message to everyone that we know they did it and need to be called out for it. If McGwire gets in the same year as Ripken and Gwynn I will go on a steroid bender myself and tie the Hall of Fame voters up with a railroad tie using my super-human juice-strength.

what rules did he break? try the ones of the united states of america
also, i would think of voting for barry, because pre-juiced barry was a hall of famer, pre-juiced mcgwire? all-star, not a hall of famer
