Well, yeah

As noted by some quite reputable folks in the comments in this post, there's more to the story than just a debate over language regarding the land use plan.

This, of course, makes a considerable more amount of sense.

hehehe...now you're getting there.

To be fair, the ABH story does have some mention of other issues that are being worked out. That, of course, is where the real heart of the issue is and it's really nothing more than good people putting in honest and sincere efforts with some misunderstandings and disagreements. It will all come good and we'll be the better for it.

I think newspaper reporters should go on strike until they are allowed to write their own headlines for their stories. Most of the time, the stories are actually pretty good but the headlines are what set up the expectations of the readers. Most headline writers seem to be frustrated advertising copywriters who would be better suited for jobs working Toyotathons.

Respectable journalists unite! Your loyal readers would happily join you in the tar-and-feathering of those headline-writing hacks! ;-)

Speaking of frustration - I'm only writing on JMac's blog because it's too damn cold to fish!

Spring must come soon or I will really make an ass of myself. ;-)
