Um ...
Seriously?
Wow. As much fun as it is to watch the GOP eat its own, this is fundamentally stupid. The amount of time it took to draw up this piece of legislation could have been spent focused on another issue that's, you know, actually important.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY "THE SENATE that the members of this body express extreme dismay at the actions of political commentators who engage in vicious attacks on Republican candidates in the various primaries and caucuses and, in particular, on Senator John McCain and call upon them to cease such attacks and promote unity among the members of the Republican Party"
And they want to get Democrats to vote fo rthis too? Are the Senate Republicans so partisan that they see themselves as the only members fo teh Senate? Or are they planning on offering a resolution to condemn similar such Swift-boat attacks on Democrats --oops, shouldn't have mentioned swift-boat attacks on Democrats, that might be a bit below the Republican belt!
I wake up every day and there's something dumber in the news. I wish this session would just end.
A resolution to express extreme dismay?
Really?
I mean....who really cares.
Do they also pass a bill at lunch time to express hunger?
