I saw Sec. Handel's response in today's AJC, and it was astoundingly (if unsurprisingly) weak.
To put things in perspective, however...at 3 hours, that makes the lines about 100-120% longer than those I experienced in 2004's advance voting cycle. Given the turnout, I can't say this wait time is a surprise...
...and that's exactly my problem here. The willful lack of preparedness and response is very familiar, as it follows the same pattern I see IT admins use when they're not inclined to perform basic maintenance. The pattern indicates disincentive and lack of will to act properly, and it's more transparent daily.
