The pattern
On Oct. 14, a cease-and-desist order was taken out against Brian Dickens, the softball coach at Oconee County High School. That same day, police notified Sheila Beckham and Scott Woodall, the school's principal and athletic director, respectively. The following day, Oconee County Sheriff Scott Berry personally notified Dickens.
On Oct. 27, close to two weeks after school officials received notification of the cease-and-desist order, the school opted to dismiss Dickens.
What happened in between those dates?
Dickens led the Lady Warriors to another state title in softball.
Again, there's something awfully wrong about this, and the fact that no one seems to care is more than troublesome.

The suggestion being that they waited for the team to win, then fired him?
